I'm partnered with a large organisation who are looking for a Finance Analyst to bolster their regulatory finance team based near Leeds.

This is a great opportunity for a bright and ambitious individual to begin an exciting career in regulatory finance.

Ideally, they are looking for a candidate with strong academic background with demonstrated consistency. You may have experience working within a similar role.

Key responsibilities within this role would be as follows:

• Supporting the Head of Finance
• Financial modelling
• Scenario analysis
• Deliver other quantitative analyses and impact assessments, formulate arguments and prepare documents
• Be involved in Regulatory reporting, preparation of Management information and regulatory contract performance assessment
• Take an active role in the price control reviews

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2:1 within a numeric based degree - Economics/Accounting/Maths
• Ability to explain complex information concisely
• Good understanding of financial processes and driving through process improvements.
• Displays excellent analytical skills & attention to detail.
• Strong desire and ability to learn new skills.
• A strong desire to attain/continue a professional Finance qualification e.g. CIMA/ACCA
• Enthusiasm and innovation
