I'm partnered with a PLC who are looking to speak to academic graduates who are looking for a career in finance?

They are currently looking for a Graduate Trainee Accountant to join their team; this would be an excellent opportunity to further your career allowing you to become a qualified accountant as they provide study support.

The responsibilities will include:

• Recording financial transactions on the accounting system.
• Checking the accuracy of weekly financial income and expenditure
• Reconciling payments – debit/credit cards, deposits and cash and ensuring queries are followed up proactively.
• Carrying out balance sheet analysis, control account and other reconciliation work.
• Assisting in the production of accurate period end management accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Develop methods to gain a greater understanding of the figures in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

• Numeric degree; Accountancy, Maths, Economics etc (min 2:1)
• A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
