Agility Resourcing is partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Blackpool to appoint a high-performing Qualified Finance Manager into a newly created position within its finance function.

The Finance Manager will report directly to a commercially astute and engaging Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the management accounts process, while contributing to the ongoing development of a robust, insight-led finance function.

The Finance Manager Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management accounts process, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery
• Produce high-quality financial and management information to support strategic decision-making
• Deliver detailed cost and margin analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
• Partner with operational stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Enhance financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with regulatory requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and reporting efficiencies

Candidate Profile

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong academic or professional track record
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager role
• Advanced Excel capability and strong financial modelling skills
• Prior exposure to manufacturing or cost-focused environments is advantageous
• Experience with ERP systems and process optimisation would be beneficial
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight
