Credit Controller Urgently Required

I am working with an innovative and growing business based in the Bradford area and they are looking to recruit a proactive Credit Controller to take ownership of their customer accounts and play a key role in maintaining a healthy cash flow.

Your Role

As Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing the collection of outstanding payments from customers
• Taking a proactive approach to reduce aged debt
• Building strong relationships with customers to encourage timely payments
• Monitoring customer credit limits and ensuring adherence
• Resolving queries quickly and professionally
• Working closely with internal teams to support the credit control process

This is more than just chasing payments – it’s about maintaining positive customer relationships while keeping accounts up to date.

The successful Credit Controller will be

• Proven experience in a Credit Control role (minimum 2 years)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Confident using SAGE and Excel
