An exceptional opportunity has opened up within a multi national PLC who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is a career-defining role for an ACA-qualified accountant looking to make their first or second move from accountancy practice into a high-impact industry position.

Reporting directly to an experienced and highly engaging Finance Director, you will operate as the clear number two within the finance function — gaining direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful commercial influence from day one.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a technical reporting role. You’ll be embedded in the operational and strategic heartbeat of the business, with visibility across the full finance cycle.

Key responsibilities include

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis to support strategic decisions
• Liaising with external auditors and managing statutory and internal compliance
• Strengthening financial controls and driving process improvement initiatives
