A leading PLC organisation is looking to recruit a bright, ambitious recent Graduate Data Analysts to join their growing analytics and insight teams.

This is an great opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong numerical or analytical degree who is looking to build a long-term career within Data.

The business offers excellent training and benefits and involves account management/support of major blue chip companies giving you exposure to internal and external stakeholders, communicating complex technical Data sets to non-technical audiences. They offer hybrid working and genuine long-term progression within a highly commercial environment within the environmental sector.

The Role

As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will work closely with the wider analytics team to deliver meaningful business insight and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing analysis, reporting and commercial insight for senior stakeholders
• Identifying trends, patterns and opportunities within large data sets
• Supporting forecasting, modelling and performance analysis
• Building reports and dashboards to support operational and commercial decisions
• Using analytical thinking to improve processes and business performance
• Supporting continuous improvement projects across the organisation
• Working collaboratively with cross functional, operational and commercial teams

What We Are Looking For

·   A minimum 2:1 degree within a numerical or analytical subject such as Maths, Economics, Physics, Sports Science or similar

·   Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

·   A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving

·   Excellent customer focus

·   Strong communication, collaborative and stakeholder skills

·   Genuine interest in Data Analytics, BI or Commercial Analysis

Desirable Skills

• SQL
• Python
• Power BI
• Data visualisation or reporting experience
